3 (who?)
Midnight Carriage Ride

Wheels creaking under the burden
Of a cargo best left unnamed
Horses whipped into a frenzy
For those who give chase mustn't gain
Luna looks down upon all of it
With her pale yellow eye
From the village back to the seaside place
Where our hungry family lies

They bade us bring back sustenance
From our midnight
Midnight carriage ride

Some say we're worthless highway robbers
Others mark us lowly thieves
The simple truth is we're forty-eight
And we all dearly love to eat
The countryside presents prime selection
Of human cattle prey
But Mother and Father daren't hunt
For wanted by the law are they

We kill for food and for sport
On our midnight
Midnight carriage ride

Dragging our night's fruit into the cave
We all fall upon it and feast
I strip the flesh from a maiden
While the children make food of a priest
Useless the bunch of them in life
But in death they serve to feed
And now that our hunger is sated
It's time for our family to breed

Yes we shall make more of us
To share in our midnight
Midnight carriage ride

Scotland's never seen the likes of us
With our lives full of sin so taboo
But if ever you hear us pray won't you come near us?
Won't you come in for a stew?
Our attempt at at novel take on the horrific Sawney Bean family who raided the Scottish countryside in search of food, human food.

Different strokes for different folks. We think it was a pretty interesting case ourselves.
